As kids develop a sense of their own identity, they naturally compare themselves to others. They are also quick to tease, put down, or even reject those who are different from themselves.
Getting kids to see differences as the spark that makes life special and interesting is an ongoing challenge for teachers and parents. This program portrays children from different cultures, with different physical attributes, and different interests. By doing so, it builds respect and helps viewers appreciate the differences among all of us.
