Viewers hear advice from runaways who have dropped out of school and are struggling to get off the streets, off drugs, and out of prostitution. Residents and counselors paint a vivid picture of life at a homeless shelter. Counselors discuss the alternatives that are available and help those with no hope, those with jail records, and those trapped by drugs and/or prostitution see that there are ways to start their lives over and get off the streets.
