Skillstreaming in Early Childhood employs a four-part training approach — modeling, role-playing, performance feedback, and generalization — to teach essential prosocial skills to preschool and kindergarten-age children.

Skillstreaming in Early Childhood program book – This book provides a complete description of the Skillstreaming program, with instructions for teaching 40 prosocial skills.
Adaptable for a variety of situations, Skillstreaming is ideal for small group instruction for children who have common social needs. Often used by counselors and others, the Skillstreaming program is structured to be a targeted, social-emotional learning intervention. Specific Skillstreaming skills can also be taught in whole class sessions by counselors.
Skill Cards – Convenient 3×5 cards, illustrated for nonreaders, listing the behavioral steps for each of the 40Skillstreaming in Early Childhoodskills. Eight cards are provided for each skill, for a total of 320 cards.
Lesson Plans and Activities – This book provides a comprehensive resource that instructors and school counselors can use to help children move successfully from skill introduction to confident mastery in real life social situations. Lesson Plans and Activities features more than 350 easy-to-use lesson plans and related activities. In addition, there are over 160 printable exercises available for download. Each is designed to help children learn about their feelings and practice healthy social interactions through easily implementable lesson plans. Activities are provided for at least one week of supplementary instruction for each of the 40 skills in the early childhood curriculum.
Skillstreaming in Early Childhood Student Workbooks – The Student Workbooks and Leader’s Guide give educators, clinicians, and school counselors a step-by-step procedure for introducing and proceeding with the Skillstreaming program. As a supplement to the Skillstreaming in Early Childhood program book, the Student Workbook jumpstarts student learning, structures the Skillstreaming teaching process for both new and experienced group leaders, and is an excellent tool for promoting parental involvement.Each Packet contains a Group Leader’s Guide and 10 student workbooks.
