Viewers hear advice from runaways who have dropped out of school and are struggling to get off the streets, off drugs, and out of prostitution. Residents and counselors at homeless shelters paint a vivid picture of life at the shelter. Out-reach workers and counselors discuss the alternatives that are available and help those with no hope, those with jail records, and those trapped by drugs and/or prostitution see that there are ways to start their lives over get off the streets and on with their lives.
