Natural High: You Can’t Beat It (DVD)

Description

This program shows how teens can turn around negative feelings and unhealthy behaviors by seeking out the natural high of positive activities.

From replacing negative feelings with the endorphin high that comes from exercise to joining a club instead of using smoking as a way of feeling part of a group, this program shows students the “natural way.”

After viewing this program, students will:

• Recognize the risks of using drugs and alcohol to get high
  
• Learn how endorphins from exercise create a natural high
  
• Identify activities that can produce a natural high (such as sports, drama, art, commitment to a cause, helping others)
