Description
Harassment is a complicated issue that the public and the courts are still trying to define. Some have tried to abuse the system for their own gain with unfair lawsuits against employers. Others don’t know their rights and continue to be harassed at work.
The purpose of this video is to present some basic guidelines to help students protect themselves by saying no to being a victim. Using short and specific workplace scenario illustrations, students are asked to explore the grey areas.
For more definitive instances of sexual harassment, specific steps are outlined students can take to protect themselves. In addition, federal, state and local laws are discussed as is discrimination in general.
