Carl Savino, a retired Army Major (USAR), is a recognized leader in the field of military-to-civilian career transition. After completing active service, he worked as a consultant for Booz-Allen & Hamilton and later the Hay Group. In 1996, Carl founded Competitive Edge Services, a company dedicated to connecting transitioning and former military with firms looking to hire them.

His popular "Corporate Gray Job Fairs for Military Personnel" (www.corporate-gray.com) are held at various locations across the country. Carl is co-author of four military career transition books - From Army Green to Corporate Gray, From Navy Blue to Corporate Gray, From Air Force Blue to Corporate Gray, and Military Resumes and Cover Letters.
