The course will include a process definition of relapse using the "Niagara Falls Metaphor," which compares the relapse process to a trip down the Niagara River and over the Falls. The course will also include:
- An explanation and description of relapse cues and triggers
- A description of how relapse occurs
- How to interrupt relapse triggers using cue interruption techniques
