Detailed Description
"Ask the Expert" exposes students to the interview process. "Recall-O-Rama"
quizzes students..... "Picto-Puzzle" challenges students to uncover the hidden
message by correctly answering interview related questions.
Pre and Post tests in each of the three modules listed below measure concept
mastery and present the student with a "Certificate of Completion."
- Nerves, Sweat and Fear: The Basics of Interview Preparation -
focuses on the basic skills found in preparing for the interview. The essentials
of resume writing and the application procedure are explored. This module
emphasizes that when it comes to interview fright, the best defense is a good
offense. A good offense begins with thorough preparation.
- A Two-way Street: Interview Skills in Action - takes the student
step-by-step through the interview process from the greeting through the
interview close. Topics such as what to wear, nonverbal behavior, and answers
to common interview questions are all explored in the interactive CD
format.
- Special Interview Challenges: Minorities, Women And People With
Disabilities - teaches a tactful and positive response to challenging
interview questions for those groups having a hard time breaking through the
traditional hiring barriers.A special emphasis is placed on avoiding the
"victim" role.
This CD-ROM program introduces the student to interview techniques such as
networking and informational interview. Ideal for students of any age. Computer
