Emotional intelligence is the ability to handle one's own emotions and to read and respond to others' emotions in ways that create positive relationships. This is an entertaining board game that reflects the five areas of emotional intelligence:
- self-awareness
- mood management
- self-motivation
- empathy
- relationship skills
As players advance along the game board, they answer questions and role-play various scenarios related to these five areas. When landing on certain spaces, the players solve problems presented by other players.
Additional specific skills that will be learned in the game are:
- cooperation
- coping skills
- impulse control
- positive self-talk
- problem solving
- interaction skills
- reading body language
