Detailed Description

By John Liptak

A survey conducted by Randall S. Hansen, Ph.D., found that the majority of recent college graduates are unprepared for the world of work. In fact, nearly two-thirds of employers say college graduates lack essential skills to succeed in today's global economy, according to a new report by the National Leadership Council for Liberal Education and America's Promise and the Association of American Colleges and Universities.

Though they may have the diploma, college graduates often lack sufficient job-hunting skills, emotional intelligence skills, and a realistic understanding of the world of work and what it takes to succeed.

This inventory helps college students more effectively prepare for the workplace. Users self-assess their knowledge, skills and attitudes in crucial career success areas such as life management and job search skills.

By ranking the responses to 60 questions covering five different topics, users discover their transitional weak points. Tips and advice complete the assessment so that the user may develop an effective college-to-career success action plan.

8 3/8 x 10 7/8. Opens to 6 panels. October 2009. $43.95 for one package of 25 inventories. SPECIAL: 10+ packages for $40.95/package.
