This program explores the role of motivation in addiction and recovery. • Am I an Addict? - Many addicts deny their problem because they define addiction in ways that don't parallel their using pattern. This video discusses the seven DSM criteria for dependence as well as criteria for substance abuse so they can diagnose themselves.
  
• Changing Friends to Stay Sober - Perhaps the most important task for people in early recovery is to avoid friends who are still on drugs and to develop new, healthy friends. This video will help viewers understand the risks in maintaining "using" relationships, how to manage the challenges in developing healthy relationships.
