This is an evidence-based curriculum developed with NIDA funding by clinical psychologists who identified why teens smoke. The strategies are based on the stages of change model, a scale that rates an individual's level of motivation to change negative behavior.
Activities help teens make gradual behavioral changes to help them quit and stay smoke-free. The award-winning video (DVD format only) The Last Drag profiles the struggles and triumphs of teen smokers and ex-smokers.
