Detailed Description

These six DVD programs help ex-offenders understand and apply addiction recovery principles in a simple, fun, and unforgettable format.

Each DVD integrates testimonials of recovering inmates, insights from addiction specialist Saul Selby (previously the Clinical Director at Hazelden), and Slick, "the voice of addiction."

Slick is an animated puppet that represents the addicted voice, giving viewers "bad" advice, which helps inmates understand their own self-destructive thinking process. Slick, "who" makes these products both humorous and memorable, has been mentioned twice on CBS's 60 Minutes.

Each DVD runs 20-30 minutes and can be broken down into 5-minute group starters. Includes free downloadable worksheets for group discussions and individual exercises. September 2008. Can be purchased separately at $199.00 each. SPECIAL: All 6 DVDs for $999.00.

NOTE: A separate version of this series is available for those who are not in or involved with the corrections system. To order this version, please see the bottom slot in the Product Options box above.
